The Department develops goals to guide activities and service provision to clients.
Strategic Plan
The Strategic Plan outlines the Department's goals and strategies for the next five years. The goals and the strategies to achieve those goals are based on our mission, vision, and assessment of the Department's internal strengths and challenges as well as the external issues and opportunities to be addressed. Our Strategic Plan also aligns with priorities defined in the Governor's Leadership Agenda.
State Plan for Vocational Rehabilitation and Supported Employment Programs
The Department updates the State Plan each federal fiscal year. Goals and strategies are defined for a three-year cycle in this document. The goals are based on a comprehensive, statewide needs assessment conducted every three years.
