Traveling Exhibit Schedule
Since January 2012, an exhibit on the History of Blindness in Iowa has been traveling to public libraries and other venues across Iowa. Each location hosts the exhibit for up to one month and a presentation on the topic is also given.
The exhibit consists of display panels addressing these themes: Education, Employment, Community and Domestic Life, Advocacy, and Technology. Exhibit information is available in Braille and audio formats. Excerpts from selected oral histories is also available on audio players. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to host the exhibit at your location.
