      The next meeting of the Elected Committee of Blind Managers will occur at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the Iowa Department for the Blind, 524 Fourth Street, Des Moines, Iowa. The tentative agenda is as follows:

      The Adult Orientation and Adjustment Center provides a curriculum for vocational rehabilitation clients of the Iowa Department for the Blind ages 17 and older to learn alternative skills for everything from cooking to computer and technology. More importantly, the program provides a platform for individuals to develop self-confidence and a truly positive attitude about themselves and their blindness.
