From Monday, June 3 to Saturday, June 7, our Rehabilitation Teachers held a successful Super Community-Based Training (CBT) in Des Moines, IA. This dynamic week brought together ten participants for a full schedule of classes, hands-on learning, and social activities—all designed to support progress toward their vocational and independent living goals.
The week concluded with a special Saturday session, where participants invited family and friends to join them. This inspiring closing event featured a panel of former clients who shared personal success stories and encouraged participants to continue building on the skills they’ve developed. Attendees were also reminded of the value of staying connected with their Rehabilitation Teachers and exploring further training opportunities through our Department’s Center.
