Overview 

A long white cane is a tool that promotes independence and helps people who are blind or low vision navigate independently. It can be used as a bumper, probe, drop-off detector, echolocation device, and form of identification. In this video, Director Stacy Cervenka shares the five primary uses of a long white cane, explains two primary cane grips, and demonstrates several cane techniques.
